Talking to babies everyday (cont)
Written by jlz on January 20, 2006 – 10:45 am -As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, I started talking to anZel quite a while back everyday about the same time.
I basically tell him about my day, what I did, how it went, etc. Lately I’ve also started reading Chinese poems to him, e.g. stuff from Tang and Song dynasties.
My wife, b33b3r, told me that lately anZel has been waking up (moving around, being active) around time when I am suppose to be reading/talking to him, even if he was sleeping before that.
I found that to be very interesting. I have read from many sources that you are supposed to put the newborn infants on a routine so they can better adjust to the new world. I never knew you could put an unborn child in the same routine as well.
I wonder if there’s any research been done in this area. Have you heard of any?
