anZel enjoying beeber’s singing performance

anZel loves it when beeber sings the “little fish swimming in the river” in Chinese. You can see how much he enjoys it in this clip. You can see that he

1. thanking beeber before she starts singing
2. smiling, laughing, and clapping to provide encouragement
3. clapping after beeber’s done
4. thanking beeber again

anZel getting stuck under the play table

anZel’s been doing alot of crawling the last couple of days and this time he crawled under the play table to get his pingpong ball. He got the ball but he also got stuck and couldn’t get out.

anZel’s learning things really quickly these days. Today he perfected the goodbye wave…

He now knows

- wave goodbye (he waves, see video)
- where’s the little elephant (he looks at the toy)
- where’s the seal (he looks at the toy)
- where’s santa claus (we have a lil santa claus hanging on the wall)
- where’s the computer (except he knows the PC, not a mac, which needs to be corrected)
- where’s the chinese couplet (he looks at the couplet)
- where’s garfield (he looks at garfield)
- who’s anzel (he drums his chest)
- where’s your head (he taps his head)
- where are you smart (he taps his head)
- how does grandma cough (he coughs)
- who’s dad/mom/grandma/grandpa (he looks at the person if u ask him)
- headbutt (he headbutts you)
- handshake (he gives his hand to you to shake)
- give five (he slaps your hand, he will hit it harder if you ask him to)
- kick his legs on the swing on command (he does it if you ask him, he won’t if you don’t)
- shut the blinds (ok, so he doesn’t actually do it but he knows where the blinds are)
- where’s the ear (he will grab your ear)
- where’s the nose (he will grab your nose)
- where’s the eyes on the dinasour and bear (he will grab the eyes of the dinasours in his little book and his little bear)
- where’s the fish (he looks at the fish)
- where’s the piglet (he looks at the toy piglet)
- where’s the windchime (he grabs it)
- hits the pingpong balls on command (ask him to “play da da” and he will hitthe objects he has in his hands together)

anZel crawling backwards

Due to anZel’s eczema around his mouth, we haven’t really allowed anZel to crawl. However, since we started using Neocate formula he’s gotten A LOT better.

We are now finally able to let him crawl. However, he’s going backwards instead!!!

First outing of the New Year

On the first day of the year, anZel took a trip out to SF China Town and hang out with his favorite peeps, Ginger and Lonny (not pictured :))
