Here’s another nursery rhyme that grandma helen’s been saying to anZel since he’s born. I found the last two lines by baiduing the web.

Sometimes it amazes me that all these nursery rhymes end in such weird ways.

月光光，照地堂

grandma helen and mommy has been reciting “月光光，照地堂，年卅晚，摘檳榔……” to anZel since he was young. I finally found it on the web…

月光光，照地堂。年卅晚，摘檳榔。檳榔香，摘子姜。子姜辣，買菩達。菩達苦，買豬肚。豬肚肥，買牛皮。

牛皮薄，買菱角。菱角尖，買馬鞭。馬鞭長，起屋梁。屋梁高，買張刀。刀切菜，買爐蓋。爐蓋圓，買條船。

船沉底，浸死兩個番鬼仔。一個浮頭，一個沉底，又畏又好睇。

anZel hung on to the horizontal bar for 10 secs…grandma claims he was able to do it for 21 secs in the morning

anZel is finishing the poems we recite in this video…no little kids or animals were harmed during the filming of this video…only slightly starved and delay of regular bed routine
