NOMB syndrome

Arden has been suffering from NOMB (NOT-on-my-back) syndrome since birth. What I mean by that is she refuses to be laid down once she is awake. For those hard-core CIO (cry-it-out) folks, I know I am/we are wimps. We are often left with two options: going deaf or having a good workout. Most of the time, we choose have arms like Popeye. Once Arden is awake and fed, her time alone/our time alone is no more than ten minutes. Upon her “limit”, she refuses to be anywhere but in someone’s arms. She has even learned the motion of being laid down. She would start crying/whining before her back/rear touches any surfaces. I sincerely hope this is a phase. None of use wants to look like Arnold or Popeye.
