1) There is no seat belt on a motorcycle because when a motorcyle crashes it falls down and the rider has to be able to pull his leg out and climb on top. (No, it’s not easy, but it’s the only way…)
2) All the oxygen, like all other gases is gathered by the gravity of the stars and planets. In some parts of outer space a long way from stars and planets, there is a lot of dust and gas. Some of the gas is oxygen, but it’s too thin to breath because there’s no local maximum of gravity to pull it together. See Larry Niven’s “Integral Trees” for possible (unlikely) ways for there to be breathable oxygen in outer space.
3) Sometimes you fall asleep, Arden, right? It’s the same with your brother. So if you can figure out why you sleep, you’ll know why he sleeps.
